As Hispanic Access continues to expand its regional networks and cross-sector partnerships, the organization is seeking leaders prepared to contribute strategic insight, professional expertise, and robust networks to advance its mission of cultivating Latino leaders, strengthening communities, and building a thriving nation for all. Through this work, Hispanic Access supports leaders addressing key community priorities including economic mobility, nature and the environment, and health and well-being, helping communities thrive across the country.
“We seek servant leaders who are deeply passionate about the Hispanic community, ready to invest their time, influence, and resources generously to empower others and drive positive change,” said Maite Arce, President and CEO of Hispanic Access Foundation. “Hispanic Access walks alongside community leaders to strengthen their leadership, connect them through trusted networks, and expand their influence over the policies, narratives, and investments that shape our communities. We invite visionary leaders who share this passion and commitment to join our Board and help build the infrastructure of leadership and collaboration needed to advance a thriving nation for everyone.”
Hispanic Access develops and connects Latino leaders nationwide, equipping them with the relationships, resources, and opportunities to influence systems and create enduring change in their communities. These leaders work across critical community priorities — from economic mobility to nature and environmental stewardship to health and well-being — helping build stronger communities and a thriving nation.
Board members play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction, providing fiduciary oversight, nurturing relationships with partners and philanthropic leaders, and serving as powerful ambassadors to broaden awareness and investment in our work. They are expected to make meaningful personal contributions of time, expertise, and resources, including annual financial support to fuel and sustain the mission.
Hispanic Access especially encourages nominations from leaders with experience in philanthropy and fundraising, finance, investments, and auditing, technology and data, legal expertise, human resources, social enterprise, and government or corporate leadership. Above all, we welcome individuals deeply committed to strengthening community leadership and expanding opportunities for Latino communities.
Nominations will be accepted through May 1, 2026. Self-nominations are welcome. Candidates who advance in the process will be contacted for interviews, references, and a conflict-of-interest review. Leaders interested in helping strengthen Latino leadership and expand community influence in national decision-making are encouraged to submit a nomination.
