Hispanic Access Foundation and REI Partner for Giving Tuesday Match Campaign

Category: News Releases

Hispanic Access Foundation is announcing its Giving Tuesday campaign in partnership with REI, who will be matching 100 percent of donations, up to $5,000. The campaign will run from now until December 14, the day of Hispanic Access Foundation’s annual event. The Giving Tuesday initiative will support Hispanic Access continue its mission of transforming Latino lives by providing them the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.

“This year, we’re thankful to have REI as our amazing partner for our Giving Tuesday campaign that will help us change Latino lives by empowering them to lead in all sectors of American life,” said Maite Arce, president and CEO of Hispanic Access Foundation. “This year, we want to shine a light on our programs and work that has already improved the lives of many communities and made progress in creating equity for Latinos in the United States.”

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 30, 2021, and throughout the year.

“Giving Tuesday inspires people around the world to support organizations and causes they care about,” said Luke Argleben, Director of Development for Hispanic Access Foundation. “Meeting our goal of raising $10,000 for our Giving Tuesday campaign will help us meet our programmatic goals, such as closing the Nature Gap that disproportionately impacts Latinos, connect young Latino leaders with employment opportunities, and continue mentoring Latino faith leaders across the nation.”
