One Month In

Written by: Peirman O'Keefe

It has already been 4 weeks at my fellowship and things are great. It was a little hectic to start, with orientation week and then jumping right into work but I am having a great time. I've gotten the hang of and EPM (Effect Pathway Manager) and have learned so much about the species I'm working on. I work on two little critters, the Alameda whipsnake (pictured here) and the Callippe Silverspot butterfly and they are both awesome. While everything is online, this hasn't stopped me from learning all I can about these guys, and man are they cool. I can't see them in person but I'm definitely going to have to make the trip to see them.

Its been a fun month and I look forward to the next 7 weeks,

I hope everyone has a great Pride month!
