Why she works for Hispanic Access…

"After taking a close look at the work Hispanic Access Foundation was doing in the community, I noticed a common thread in all the testimonies I had been hearing and reading…everyone spoke about how amazing they felt when they were engaged with Hispanic Access. All of the accolades they attributed to the organization seemed to be a balance of feeling welcome, supported and inspirited. Hearing those testimonies, along with my passion for the outdoors and empowering others, made joining the team an easy choice! And, it continues to be the reason I stay!"

In her spare time…

“I enjoy being outdoors and being around the people I care about in life.”

Her favorite book…

“I can’t say that I have a favorite book. Although, since I’ve been thinking about it, To Kill A Mockingbird keeps coming to mind. And, I recently read We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves. It touched me.”

A person she finds inspirational…

“As a child I was always inspired by my grandmother’s unwavering spirit. She was remarkable. Now, as an adult, she’s no longer with us. However, I see some of her in my mother. And, am continuously encouraged by my mother’s drive and perseverance.”
