Camila Saldivar

Camila Saldivar is a senior at Texas State University where she is pursuing a career in Therapeutic Recreation. She fell in love with Recreational Therapy because it integrates aspects of her various interests; event planning, creative arts, and helping others achieve overall well-being. Camila’s goal is to advance in the field of Recreational Therapy by creating evidence-based protocols as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and taking on leadership roles that empower others to develop confidence. She is excited to take on the role of a scientific literature resource reviewer by creating an accessible database for the NPS Interpretive Planners with Harpers Ferry National Park. In her spare time you’ll find Camila thrifting, basking in the magic of the San Marcos river or trying out new whimsical projects.
