Marta E. Sánchez, Ph.D. is a Professor of Specialized Programs in Urban Education at Loyola Marymount University in California. Formally, she served as the Assistant Dean at Loyola Marymount University and prior to that, she served as Professor Emerita California State University, Northridge. Dr. Sanchez serves on several nonprofit boards and specializes in teacher training, community and parent engagement, and STEM education programs. She has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Education from University of California, Santa Barbara. She lives in Northridge, California.
